The environmental protection is among the highest priorities in the OCP Group's strategy. Being a major concern, it led the Company to adopt a voluntary policy designed to control the impact of its mining and industrial activity on the natural environment, to apply operating conditions with no risk for the personnel and the population, and to conform to national and international standards.

To formalize and harmonize environmental management on the Group scale, an overall approach has been adopted based on the values that have always prevailed within OCP, i.e. prevention, continuous improvement and citizenship spirit.
