Phosboucraa Foundation, in partnership with the Moroccan Student Foundation, organized a ceremony on July 27 at its Laayoune Learning Center, honoring 11 students who benefited from its Academic Excellence Scholarship Program. These students will be supported by Phosboucraa Foundation to pursue an international Master's degree for the 2019-2020 academic year.

Launched in 2014, the program "Bourses d'Excellence" (Academic Excellence Scholarship) dedicated to students from the three southern regions of the kingdom, benefits 157 students, 75% of whom are enrolled in public institutions of excellence in various backgrounds: engineering, management, medicine, architecture, social sciences, law, and technical sciences.

In September 2018, Phosboucraa Foundation celebrated the first two cohorts of its Academic Excellence Scholarships program (2016-2017 and 2017-2018 cohorts). The 3rd cohort of laureates was celebrated this month of July and consists of 16 laureates. Its particularity: the international acceptance and departure of 11 beneficiaries.

Indeed, for the first time in its history, the Phosboucraa Foundation Scholarship Program offers 11 recipients the opportunity to pursue their higher education abroad. Thus, 7 students were admitted to prestigious schools in France, including Ecole Centrale and Ecole des Mines, while 3 girls were admitted to renowned institutions in Canada including Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal and Laval University.

And so that these beneficiaries can succeed in the prestigious institutions and exceptional programs in which they have been admitted (renewable energy, artificial intelligence, electronics, computer science, etc), Phosboucraa Foundation will offer them up to 2 years of support.
