UM6P inaugurates its Innovation & Entrepreneurship Space

Mohammed VI Polytechnic University inaugurated its Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I & E) Space on December 7, 2018. Located in the heart of the campus, this two-story building is configured into small flexible spaces conducive to gathering and offers two meeting rooms, a multitude of moveable furniture, plenty of friendly spaces ideal for discussions, and the ability to use the space freely.

This place aims to converge all initiatives related to entrepreneurship towards the entire OCP family. At this event, spokespeople from actors in this ecosystem like Act4Community for Social Entrepreneurship, the Innovation Situation, the Digital Office, Agri Edge, Independent Business Owner, OCP Maintenance Solutions, OCP Global Mining Services, Farmerology.com and GEERD, came to present their projects and greatest achievements. For Hicham El Habti, Secretary General of UM6P, "this space illustrates UM6P's mission for OCP Group". And Yasser Biaz, Special Project Manager of the Secretary General, explains: "The various stakeholders are here to welcome and celebrate the opening of this space". Mr. Hassan Radoine, Director of the UM6P School of Architecture, Planning and Design, hailed, "this space instills the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation among all stakeholders of the OCP family". "We are not a conventional university, here at UM6P, innovation is at the heart of everything we do," he added.
